New Delhi : JKC Sports has invested in Sheru Classic Universe, the global fitness, health and wellness platform now present across nine countries, as part of a wider plan to globalise the brand and its business. A key objective alongside it is to give home-grown, Make-in-India talent a clear route to the global stage. JKC Sports Co-Founder Madhav Singhania spoke about the move on the closing day of IHFF x Sheru Classic 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

This year’s edition in New Delhi brought together around 250 participants from five countries and drew close to 1.5 lakh visitors across the three-day festival.

“Beyond the investment itself, we see Sheru Classic as a platform for Make-in-India talent to reach a global stage,” said Madhav Singhania, CEO & Joint Managing Director, JK Cement, and Co-Founder, JKC Sports. “We want to build a clear pathway from India to the world, not only through the Olympia but through new platforms across technology, infrastructure and fitness IPs.”

The Sheru Classic Universe investment is part of a bigger plan. JKC Sports, which Madhav Singhania founded with Dr. Raghavpat Singhania, is building across technology, infrastructure and new fitness IPs, with the aim of a single route for Indian athletes, from the grassroots at home to international stages like the Mr. Olympia.

Mr. Singhania placed the move in a bigger picture. India is young, its sporting culture is growing fast, and it is hosting more major events, even as the Prime Minister’s Fit India movement and the Khelo India programme push the country to get fitter.

“India is a young nation on its way to becoming a global superpower, and fitness, health and wellness will be the differentiator that makes this generation more productive and more invested in nation-building,” he said. “Nation-building has been the JK Group’s philosophy for decades. Through JKC Sports, we now see sport and fitness as a future pillar of our growth.”

Sheru Aangrish, founder of Sheru Classic, welcomed the investment. “For years, Indian athletes have had the talent but not always the platform,” he said. “JKC Sports coming on board helps us change that, and carry more of our home-grown talent from the gym floor here to the biggest stages in the world.”
