New Delhi : Royal Enfield Social Mission presents the third edition of Journeying Across the Himalayas, a multi-arts festival celebrating the cultures and communities of the Himalayas. Taking place from Thursday, 3rd Dec to Wednesday, 9th Dec ‘26 at Travancore Palace, Delhi, this year’s theme, Becoming, explores how Himalayan communities navigate change through art, craft, music, food and living heritage.
The festival brings together 100+ experiences, including 25+ installations and exhibitions, 20+ live musical performances, 10+ culinary experiences and 50+ workshops and conversations. Tickets for the festival are available on BookMySHow.
A curtain raiser at Oddbird Theatre, offered a first taste of what is to come, bringing together Khasi blues musician Tipriti Kharbangar and Manipuri folk artist Mangka Mayanglambam for a cross-regional musical collaboration, followed by a conversation with poet and novelist Karuna Ezara Parikh and a Himalayan culinary showcase by Chef Tanisha Phanbuh of Tribal Gourmet. The December festival builds on this first glimpse, expanding the programme into a larger showcase of multiple acts from across the region, presented as part of the inaugural performing arts programme in partnership with Oddbird Foundation.
The festival will include highlights such as Gautam Pandey’s Before Time, exploring Ladakh’s ancient petroglyphs; Pahaadi – Colour, Drawn from the Himalaya, a natural dye installation by Himanshu Shani; and The Unquiet Orchard by Vibha Galhotra, examining traditional beekeeping and modern apiculture, etc. The programme also features performances by Taba Chake, Raman Negi and Aabha Hanjura, regional culinary experiences at Chouka, daily film screenings curated by the Dharamshala International Film Festival, and the Himalayan Bazaar, bringing together 45+ Himalayan brands and craft collectives.
