New Delhi (BW): The Collegium of the Supreme Court has recommended the appointment of Justice CS Sudha, Additional Judge of the Kerala High Court as a permanent judge of the High Court.
Her name has been recommended for the appointment as the permanent judge on the 21 June, 2023. The Governor and the Chief Minister has been made aware of the recommendation after it went to the Supreme Court Collegium.
Judges of the Supreme Court conversant with the working of the Kerala High Court has been consulted while appointing the suitability of Justice Sudha as permanent judge.
As of 1st August, the Kerala High Court had 34 judges as against the sanctioned strength of 47 judges.
