Karma Founder Priya Kailad Honoured with “The Restore Awards”, a United Nations-Endorsed Platform
Karma Foundation, a Pune-based NGO dedicated to the welfare and medical care of stray and community animals, has been honoured as one of the 15 winners of the 7th edition of The Restore Awards®. The United Nations-endorsed awards platform recognises individuals and organisations working across human and planet health.
The recognition was presented at a high-profile gala ceremony on 26 September 2026 at the JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, Mumbai, in the presence of more than 100 leaders. Senior leaders and doctors formed part of the jury, with the awards bringing together work across health, wellbeing, sustainability and social impact. The occasion was further elevated by The Restore Awards®’ digital reach of more than 1 million across global social media platforms.
Selected through a multi-stage evaluation process, with 900 nominees narrowed to 120 finalists and ultimately 15 winners, the recognition reflects Karma Foundation’s growing contribution to advancing animal health within a wider framework of social impact.
For Karma Foundation, this milestone marks an important moment in its continued efforts to support animals affected by injury, illness, cruelty and neglect. The Foundation also provides timely medical attention and compassionate care to animals that often have limited access to treatment.
