Kids of The Shri Ram Academy celebrate 75 years of India’s Independence

Hyderabad: As a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, The Shri Ram Academy, an institution which imbibes global outlook yet retains Intrinsic Indian cultural traditions; celebrated the 75th year of India’s Independence, on the eve of Independence day, today at its premises at Gowlidoddi. The day marked patriotic fervour and festivities including cultural, aesthetic and patriotic performances by students and staff. A show had students dressed up as unsung and celebrated Indian leaders, martyrs and freedom fighters. They were helped by their parents, who had the opportunity to display their creativity and patriotic values with their young ones in full regalia.

The day’s highlight included an inspirational and energetic performance by the Regimental Pipe Band from the Indian Army for our students and staff. As a gesture of gratitude, teachers and learners from The Shri Ram Academy tied Rakhi to the Band members for their courage, love and bravery. It was a stirring and poignant moment that pulled at the heartstrings of everyone attending the programme.

The event was organized and helmed by Managing Directors and Founders Ms Sindhura Indukuri and Ms Aishwarya Kurra, Dr Jyothi Reddy, Director of Education -The Shri Ram Schools Hyderabad; Ms Nisha Chanderr, Vice President of Operations; along with The Head of School for The Shri Ram Academy, Mr Mohamed Rizwan.

This event established the foundations of The Shri Ram Academy, with International Curriculum, instilling the cultural and patriotic roots within our learners and community. Parents expressed their gratitude and happiness with the proceedings, congratulating the school for instilling patriotic values to carry forward within their young ones and focusing on their holistic development in the classroom, the process for which – Thanks to The Shri Ram Academy – has already begun.
