KIIT World School Hold Tiranga-Yatra

Gurgaon: Students and Teachers of KIIT World School, Sohna Road, participated in the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign to commemorate India’s 75th anniversary of independence by participating in a tiranga yatra. The rally was headed by school Principal, Neelima Kamrah, covering a distance of three kilometers. The event drew more than Four Hundred  participants, including varsity students, non-teaching workers, and teachers.

During this, participants distributed Indian flags to the locals and encouraged them to support the initiative started by the Indian Government. Students took part in the tiranga yatra, wearing patriotic face paint and shouting slogans like Bharat Mata ki Jai, Vande Mataram, Jai Hind, and Hindustan Zindabad as they marched. As the march went on, the people from local joined as well.

While speaking on “Har-Ghar Tiranga” campaign, Neelima Kamrah, Principal of KIIT World School, said that the The Tiranga Yatra has undeniably instilled in the students the feeling of nationalism and patriotism.Our citizens feel a sense of patriotism, pride in their country, and belonging when they see our national flag. National unity is crucial for the country”. She emphasized that the family itself must instill a sense of nationalism in their children.
