In Football, Iraq has made it to the final of the ongoing King’s Cup 2023 at Chiang Mai in Thailand.
In the semi-final on 7th Sep 2023, Iraq defeated Indian men’s team on penalty shootout 5-4 after the match was tied 2-2 at full regular time.
In the other semi-final, hosts Thailand will take on Lebanon.
