Kolkata:For the first time, The Heritage School Kolkata organized Virtual Prize Day today on 2nd September, 2020. It was graced by Dr. Kiran Bedi, Lieutenant Governor of The Union Territory of Puducherry as the Chief Guest. The programme witnessed the presence of Shri H. K. Chaudhary, Chairman, Heritage Group of Institutions, Shri Vikram Swarup, Chairman, The Heritage School, Shri P. K. Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions, Ms. Seema Sapru, Principal and other staff and teachers of the School. During the inaugural address, Dr. Kiran Bedi spoke about the the three G’s which are Grow up to give back to the Country, Always remain grateful for whatever you have and keep growing ( self learning). She also said that the lessons of classroom is now in the Covid-19 battlefield like the lessons of Gita was in the battlefield of Kurukshetra. These motivating words inspired the students and teachers of the School. The programme also witnessed the felicitation of School Toppers for ICSE exam 2020 Indrani Ghosh, for the IGCSE exam Sumedha Paul, for the ISC Science Rohin Bardhan, for ISC Commerce Yash Mundhra, for NIOS topper Aditya Ranjan and many more. After the inaugural ceremony, the School magazine Vrittant 2020 was released by Dr. Kiran Bedi. The magazine was dedicated to commemoration of 150th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.
