Kolkata Awakens to the Rhythm of Devotion: ‘Morning of Bhakti’ at Prinsep Ghat

Kolkata : Kolkata witnessed a vibrant celebration of faith, devotion and cultural as “Morning of Bhakti – A Day of Devotion, Kirtan & Kripa”, organised by Prinsep Ghat Bhakti Vriksha (Baldev Group) of ISKCON Kolkata and supported by Rupa, brought together devotees, spiritual leaders and community members for a spiritually enriching morning.

The event featured Japa, Harinaam Kirtan, Bhagavad Gita discourse, devotional music, cultural performances by devotees and children from Vrinda Garden, Deep Daan and Ganga Aarti, creating a serene atmosphere of devotion and positivity.

A key highlight of the celebration was the Harinaam Kirtan on a boat along the Ganga, offering a unique spiritual experience while showcasing India’s rich devotional traditions.

The celebration witnessed the presence of spiritual leaders and senior ISKCON devotees including HG Mohan Gobind Prabhuji (Circle Servant Leader of Baldev Group), HG Lila Viharini Mataji, HG Din Taran Das Prabhuji, HG Indira Sakhi DD Mataji, Atul Prabhuji, Pradip Prabhuji, Kumkum Mataji and other ISKCON devotees. The gathering also brought together several distinguished, industrialists and community leaders, including Shri Kunjbihari Agarwal of Rupa & Company Limited and Shri Hari Mohan Bangur of Shree Cement, alongside the occasion was also graced by The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Maldives in Kolkata, Mr. Ram Krishna Jaiswal making the occasion a memorable celebration of faith, devotion and cultural heritage.
