Kolkata: TCS CodeVita 2022 is a prestigious event that was held from 11th March. A global coding challenge that has been designed by TCS to promote skill development and the spirit of innovation among the students, every year the competition witnesses participation of more than 350000 students worldwide.
A student of Heritage Institute of Technology (HITK), Rituparna Padira from B.Tech- Computer Science Engineering, Batch-2023, qualified for the Grand Finale at TCS CodeVita Season-10 after clearing Round -2 whose results were declared on 21st April.
Today the final results were declared and we feel proud to state that Rituparna becomes the sole female finalist among the top 30 finalists who have been selected for the Grand Finale which was organized on 15th May 2022.
While Kalash Gupta from IIT Delhi was declared as the winner in TCS CodeVita 2022 Season-10 today, Rituparna Padira was declared as the sole female finalist among the 30 top finalists across the world making not only Bengal proud but also the feminine gender as well.
Passionate about coding, Rituparna sees herself among the top programmers in the world. “I love coding and this competition has boosted my confidence a lot. I was really surprised when I officially received mail yesterday from TCS and could not believe my eyes that I am among the top 30 finalists in the world ,” said Rituparna.
“A proud moment for HITK as it shows how well the students of the Institute are performing at such international events,” said Shri P.K.Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata.
