Kokrajhar : A ceremonial distribution of land certificate of title to the claimants under Forest Rights Act-2006 was held today at Samsangkala in Kokrajhar district.
Assam Tourism and WPT & BC Minister Chandan Brahma attended the programme and distributed the certificates to the beneficiaries.
Total 300 families in 10 villages under Haltugaon division in Kokrajhar district, were ceremonially distributed the certificate of title to the claimants.
Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner Partha Pratim Mazumar, former BTC executive member Derhasat Basumatary, Kokrajhar Circle officer Dipenn Barman, Haltugaon DFO Kamleswar Brahma were among those present in the meeting.
