Mumbai: In Maharashtra, the rescue operation of the ill-fated Tariq Garden building which collapsed on Monday in Mahad city in Raigad District, concluded today. The rescue operation lasted for more than forty hours. The death toll mounted to 16, with three more dead bodies being recovered from the rubble today. Nine others injured in the mishap have been hospitalized.
According to the Raigad District Collector, Nidhi Chaudhary the rescue operation was carried out as per the list of the occupants of the building and no one is found to be missing or trapped according to the list.
