Meet Mumbai Indians’ newest off-the-field coach: One who teaches them to ‘Chill Like A Champion’

Mumbai: When Jasprit Bumrah calls for “passion, action, glory,” you know that the Mumbai Indians are about to give it their all. But in a turn of events, their usual pre-game huddle recently took an unexpected detour into a full-blown watch party for Glory: To Each Their Own – Netflix’s latest sports thriller that dives into the real cost behind every win.

In the latest film from Netflix’s ‘Chill Like A Champion’ campaign, Bumrah, along with Deepak Chahar and Naman Dhir, is seen pumping up for the game when they’re interrupted by Sunil Grover – their new ‘chill coach’. Grover flips the script by encouraging the players to channel their “passion, action, glory” in a completely different way as Netflix’s latest release gatecrashes their prep.

Just as every fighter steps into the ring chasing something different, the players carry that same adrenaline into their downtime. As Glory: To Each Their Own rolls on Netflix, the team settles in for an impromptu binge as Grover asks the players to embrace between-the-games downtime saying, “Chill karoge tabhi toh kill karoge.” The film ends with a playful nod to the iconic “I only believe in Jassi bhai” viral moment as Grover signs off with a cheeky wink fans won’t miss, saying “I only believe on Netflix, bhai” – because when the game pauses, even champions unwind with Netflix.

As the Official Entertainment Partner for Mumbai Indians this season, Netflix promises uninterrupted entertainment even beyond the field – for fans and players alike. The campaign celebrates both the intensity of the game and the downtime that fuels it, bringing alive a simple idea: when the action winds down, the entertainment continues with Netflix.
