The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore’s signature speakeasy will host its first-ever bar takeover since launch, welcoming Baltra Bar, the Mexico City institution revered by the global cocktail circuit.
Ranked #20 on North America’s 50 Best Bars and #78 globally, bringing with it a cocktail philosophy built on precision and restraint. The programme champions fresh ingredients, nuanced flavour work, and seasonal creativity, reinterpreting classics with subtle twists, lifted with ingredients like yuzu, jasmine, and finely balanced citrus.
Led by acclaimed Beverage Director José Luis León, the visiting team will take over The Cloak Society’s bar with a cocktail menu that reflects Baltra’s evolving approach. Complementing the pours is a bar-bite lineup featuring globally inspired plates such as Mexican Brassica and Tuna Tostada, designed to match the evening’s mood and flavour direction.
For Bengaluru’s cocktail connoisseurs, this is more than a takeover. It is an invitation into a world that usually requires a flight to access, now unfolding, discreetly, in the city’s most intimate address.
