Kokrajhar: Assam Power, Tourism, Library, Archeology, Museum minister Bimal Borah on Monday held a review meeting with senior department officials at BTC Secretariat in Kokrajhar in presence of BTR Chief executive member Pramod Boro and BTR executive members on various issues related to the four departments under him.
Talking to Reporters after the meeting, the minister said the review meeting discuss on various issues like speedy and timely implementation of projects and undertaking new development work in the BTR.
He informed that under Saubhagya Scheme electrification of remaining 23,0,31 households will be done immediately. He said sports infrastructure will developed in BTR for harnessing young sports talents. He also said the BTR has huge tourism potential which will be developed to attract tourists.
He stated that the state government will work together with the BTC administration for development of the region.
Earlier the minister visited Chakrachila Wildlife sanctuary, Diplai Beel and Dheer beel.
