Mitra Satish reached Guwahati from Cochin after covering 2,000 km to promote rural tourism

GUWAHATI : A few moments of leisure from everyday life always work to improve life. People usually use this leisure for trips. The seven north-eastern states of India, full of beautiful mountains and greenery, are one of the hidden treasures of nature. The weather, mood and culture here offer a different view. Friend Satish reaches Guwahati after covering 2,000 kilometres to promote rural tourism. He will leave for Sikkim tomorrow from Guwahati.

 In this context, Mitra Satish was accorded a grand welcome by SS Dev Burman, Regional Director (North East), India Tourism at the India Tourism Office at Guwahati Paltan Bazar. All the workers of Guwahati office of Bharat Tourism North East Regian were present on the occasion. In this context, Mitra says that he started his journey from Cochin on March 17. Mitra started his journey with his child in his Maruti S Cross train and has reached Guwahati after touching several States of India like Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal and travelling to seven states of North Purvanchal. Mitra’s journey of about 80 days will be completed by travelling via Sikkim to Uttaranchal, Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand. In this context, Mitra has said that the best thing for tourism in the North-Eastern State is that once on a tour, one can go for a tour of the entire North-East. North Eastern India is also a tourist attraction.

Because the cultural diversity and natural beauty here attracts them further. He said that the rural life of every State here is the heritage of art, culture, rural places. And the state along the north-eastern part of India is the land of different cultures and civilizations. The people here are very simple, the people here know how to respect the guests. Mitra said the journey here has been a great miss for him. This whole journey is one of his dreams in which his family has received a lot of support. In the future, friends want to travel once and for a while to post-eastern India and see the unique beauty here.
