MP By-poll: 66 nomination papers from 56 candidates so far

For the Assembly By-elections, 2020, 32 nomination papers have been submitted by 28 candidates today in 28 assembly constituencies of 19 districts of the state. Thus, so far, 66 nomination papers have been filed by 56 candidates.   

One nomination paper each by one candidate each in 6-Morena assembly constituency and assembly constituency number 8-Ambah, 4 nomination papers by 4 candidates in assembly constituency 7-Dimni of Morena district have been filed. Similarly, 2 nomination papers by one candidate in Assembly constituency 13-Gohad of Bhind district and one nomination paper by one candidate in assembly number 15-Gwalior of Gwalior district have been submitted.

Two nomination papers by 2 candidates in assembly constituency number 37-Surkhi of Sagar district, 3 nomination papers by 2 candidates in assembly constituency number 87-Anuppur of Anuppur district, 2 nomination papers by 2 candidates in assembly constituency number 142-Sanchi of Raisen district, 3 nomination papers by 3 candidates in Assembly Constituency No. 172-Hatpipalaya of Dewas district, 2 nomination papers by 2 candidates in assembly constituency 202-Badnawar of Dhar district, 3 nomination papers by 3 candidates in assembly constituency number 226-Suwasra of Mandsaur district and 2 nomination papers by one candidate in assembly constituency number 53-Malhara of Chhatarpur district have been filed. 

Two nomination papers by two candidates in assembly constituency number 179-Nepanagar of Burhanpur district, 2 nomination papers by one candidate in assembly constituency number 175-Mandhata of Khandwa district and 2 nomination papers by 2 candidates in assembly constituency number 161-Biaora of Rajgarh district have been filed.   

Nomination papers will be submitted by October16. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on October17. The process of withdrawal of nominations will be held till October 19. Polling will take place on November 3 and counting on November 10.
