Bhopal: As per the instructions issued by the Government of India, preparations in advance before arrival of Covid Vaccination are being made by all the states. Under this, a database of health workers (Corona warriors) and high risk group beneficiaries, identified in the first phase is to be prepared in the state. In this regard, training of all officers and staff has been completed by organizing national and state-level video conferences.
Photographs, identity cards and mobile numbers of doctors and staff working in all clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic centers, registered under the Clinical Establishment Act and all government hospitals (Health Department, Medical Education, Police, Gas Relief, Municipal Corporations) etc. will be entered in the format at the earliest, so that information about the place of vaccination and time can be forwarded via SMS on the day of vaccination. There is a plan to administred vaccine twice in an interval of one month to every beneficiary of Covid-19 vaccine, which will be beneficial to prevent corona infection.
At state level, in-depth review has already been conducted by Additional Chief Secretary Health on many micro points like maintenance of vaccine, transportation, micro plan, cold chain, equipments, man power, supervision, monitoring etc.
The Commissioner Health Services has instructed the State Nodal Officer Vaccination / IDSP and District-level officers to make available the information about the preparations as soon as possible as per the check list.
The Mission Director NHM has been identified by the Government of India as the state nodal officer for state-level Covid vaccination. Collectors have been entrusted with the responsibility at the district level.
