The makers of film Mughalsarai Junction, had organized a press conference on 11th September,2020 in Mumbai. The film is a biopic based on life and journey of Deendayal Upadhyay. Shri Anup Jalota who is playing an important role in the movie and producer Mahaveer Prasad will address the media.
Under the banner of M Prasad production & Anup Jalota, the upcoming Hindi film “Mughalsarai Junction” based on the life of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay is all set to release on his birth anniversary i.e. 25th September, 2020.
The film is directed by Ashish Kumar Kashyap and produced by Mahavir Prasad and Geeta Prasad. The music and background score is given by Chandra-Surya and lyrics by Hariom Sharma and Devakinandan Shant. Niranjan Singh is the Cinematographer. Shipra Prakash and Aruna Prakash are the executive producer.
Mohit Kanoujia is playing the role of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Bhajan samrat Anup Jalota is playing the guru of Deen Dayal Upadhay.Prior to this, Anup Jalota had also worked in Paatal Lok released on OTT platform.
Other than Mohit Kanoujia and Anup Jalota, Seema Modi ,Yogesh Varma ,Gyanesh Shukla,Mridulay Singh Maddy, Dr Sujata Choudhary ,Parth Varma ,Samridhi Singh ,Aryman Kashyap ,Aprajita Kashyap and Aradhya Kashyap in various roles.
The film “Mughal Sarai Junction” is a biography of the president of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, Deen Dayal Upadhyay. This is a story of a man born in a poor family in a small village in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, who has dedicated his entire life for the country.
The film has been shot in Lucknow and is all set to release on 25th September, 2020.
On being asked about his role,Anoop Jalota said that this role is very emotional for me. It is a matter of great pride to play the role of Pandit Deendayal’s teacher.The whole country considers his given ideals to be superior. This film Mughalsarai junction depicting the story of love and sacrifice towards the country is a tribute. I have been very keen to act after webseries Paatalok and have been wanting to do a lot in films and webseries.
The producer Mahaveer Prasad quoted the film is very close to my heart.To present the ideals and the sacrifice of Pandit deen dayal Upadhyay is really overwhelming.I really want to thank the cast and crew of the film and especially Jalota .
