Kolkata : Heritage Institute of Technology (HITK) an autonomous engineeeing college topped the NIRF list among private engineeering colleges in Bengal. Recently the Institute bagged NAAC A grade in the second cycle and now topped the NIRF chart. The Institute received around 4 crores research grant from various statutory agencies and the alumni memebers of the Institute is spread across the world in leading organizations apart from becoming top entrepreneurs.

And above this, the blessings from the stakeholders have made all the difference, ” said Mr. Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata. Students of the Institute secured placements in Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and many more. Few of them secured internships in Microsoft, Amazon etc.
“Ranking within a band of 201-250 among more than 1000 engineering colleges and universities in India is really a remarkable feat achieved by the Institute. I congratulate the faculty and staff for this, ” said Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Principal, HITK.
