In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Budgam police along with 50 RR and CRPF busted a narco terror module linked with terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohamad (JeM) in Chadoora area of district Budgam.
Six terrorists have been arrested and different items have been recovered from their possession which include One Chinese pistol , One Pistol Magazine, Four Pistol rounds, One Hand grenade, One kg Heroine and Cash amounting to Rs. 1 lac 55 thousand.
As per initial investigation, it has been revealed that this module was working in close coordination with Pakistan based terror handlers and were involved in drug trade, supply of weapons and money to active terrorists of outfit Jaish-E-Mohammad.
With their arrest, the inter connection between drug dealers and terrorists has also been exposed.
FIR under relevant provisions has been registered in Police Station Chadoora and investigation initiated in this regard.
