Kolkata : Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata on Wednesday celebrated National Youth Day in honour of the 158th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The day started with lighting up of the lamp to mark the onset of the remarkable moment at The Heritage campus. Principal of Heritage Institute of Technology, Dr. Pranay Chaudhuri offered flowers to the photograph of the great philosopher who had made a significant transformation in our Country. The event also witnessed the presence of all the Heads of the Academic Departments of Heritage Institute of Technology who offered flowers to Swami Vivekananda’s photograph to celebrate this great moment.
“My humble tribute to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary which is celebrated as National Youth Day across the Nation. An inspiration for the entire Country, for the youth in particular, he transformed India’s spiritual heritage and brought it centrestage in the world. His teachings continue to inspire us,” said Shri P.K.Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata.
