New Delhi: National Investigation Agency (NIA) is conducting raids across ten states in human trafficking case. These states are Tripura, Assam, West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Haryana, Puducherry, Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir.
Sleuths of NIA officials are conducting raids in human trafficking cases in many places in Tamilnadu today. In connection with the same investigation, manual workers belonging to Bangladesh who have been overstaying in Chengalpet district are being questioned. At least two persons have been arrested in connection with overstaying. They have obtained fake Aadhaar IDs with addresses from Tripura. Searches are still on.
