Incessant rain continues to lash several parts of Odisha. The impact of the low pressure area over North Bay of Bengal is likely to be felt over the entire state for the next 24 hours. Monsoon has been quite active over the entire stretch of Odisha. Despite the rains, incessant or intermittent, there has been no flood or flood-like situation anywhere in the state as of now.
Even though all the major rivers are flowing below their respective danger marks, the state administration has warned all local authorities against lowering their guards. Heavy to very heavy rainfall has been predicted for a few places over Western Odisha districts during the next 24 hours.
