Oil Prices Up Amid US Tariff Threat on Venezuelan Crude Buyers

London: Oil prices witnessed an uptick today on expectations of tightening global supply after the US threatened tariffs on countries that buy Venezuelan crude oil and gas. Brent Crude was trading over 0.7 per cent up at 73 dollars and 54 cents per barrel. WTI Crude was also trading over 0.7 per cent up at 69 dollars and 64 cents per barrel when reports last came in.
