Ole and Uttam creates Magic in Nadi Samvad Tribute to Yamuna

New Delhi: An International Collaboration “Magic of Strings” was held live in concert at Talkatora stadium, Delhi. It was held in honor of the “Nadi Samvad” organized by Rashtriya Swabhiman Yatra and Yamuna Mission led by Govindacharya in the presence of spiritual leaders around the nation. Two Maestros, Siddha Veena sensation- Siddhartha Banarjee and Ole Frastad from Norway were the main musicians who let the people understand the importance of clean rivers through their music. While the Tabla was accompanied by young and dynamic Kumar Uttam.

Nadi Samvad is being held under the Yamuna Mission. The main moto of the Nadi Samwad is “Nadi Bachao, Desh Bachao, Yamuna Bachao, Delhi Bachao”. The Yamuna Mission was started by the honorable Shri K. N. Govindacharya Ji. He along with his associates had completed Shri Ganga Ji, Shri Narmada Ji, and Shri Yamuna Ji Yatra in the year 2020-21.

The Ganga Yatra started from Shriram Tapasthali to Gangasagar from 1 September 2020 to 2nd October 2020. For the second river that was the Narmada River, The Narmada Yatra started from Amarkantak on 19 February 2021 and ended at Amarkantak on 17 March 2021. The third yatra to the Yamuna River started from Vikas Nagar which is in Uttarakhand on 28 August 2021 and ended on 15 September 2021 at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

The main objective of these trips or yatra was to study the present situation of these three important rivers of our country. In this yatra, they also heard the experiences of the people and institutions who were active in various aspects of nature-centered development. A consolidated report of these visits was published on Nadi Samvad-1, 2021 which was held in Delhi on 30 November 2021.

Siddhartha Banarjee said, “It is an honor to be able to perform for such a noble cause. The Yamuna Mission is a cause that is close to my heart and I am proud to be associated with this movement. It is important for people to take action now and make smart choices for Mother Earth, and what better way to spread this message than through melodies and music.”

Kumar Uttam, who is a young musician on the rise said, “Performing with my fellow collaborators is a dream come true. Not only do I get the chance to work with some of the best names in the current music landscape, but I also get to promote a cause that is the need of the moment. I have been bestowed with the opportunity to spread the word of conservation through music, and with music and environment being my passion- no opportunity could be better than this.”
