Jorhat :  Baratiya Janata Party national president  Amit Shah addressing a mammoth election rally at the Jorhat Institute of Science and Technology playground heavily flayed the Congress Party chief Rahul Gandhi for his immature remarks and framing Prime Minister Narendra Modi , a Chaukidar and requested the gathering to vote once again Modi Sarkar, as what congress could not do past 70 years but NDA government under the leadership of Narendra Modi had shown in past five years by implementing 133 schemes for the common poor masses. The BJP national president who landed in a special chartered chopper campaigned for 12 Jorhat Lok Sabha Constituency candidate Tapan Kumar Gogoi in presence of Sarbananda Sonowal-Assam Chief Minister, NEDA chairman-Himanta Biswa Sharma, Assam state BJP president Ranjit Das, Asom Gana Parishad president Atul Bora, Jorhat sitting MP Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, among BJP MLAs Kushal Dowari, Jugen Mohon,  Renupoma Rajkhowa, Pradip Hazarika and other party leaders.

During BJP’s tenure North East as well as Assam developed fast while Asia’s longest bridge over river Brahmaputa the Bogibeel bridge came Narendra Modi’s tenure. The poor of the poorest were given light, followed by Right answers to foreign terrorists who were creating havoc along the line of control on the country’s board. Moreover schemes to save girl child and to give women empowerment and rights including road connectivity with 133 Yojanas came into force under the leadership of Narendra Modi and out of all Ayushman Bharat Yojana had proved to be top of the list to have benefitted  the common poor masses specially in the health sector . So he urge upon the people of Jorhat to kindly vote for the BJP candidate who is also a minister in the State cabinet and following his win once more Government under the leadership of Narendra Modi should come in the centre.

Sarbananda Sonowal during his address heavily flayed the congress leader Tarun Gogoi  for making ties with AIUDF for which certain constituencies and Assembly seats had gone into the hands of non-Assamese Bangladeshis for which we need to think twice before casting our valuable vote and to form a government under the leadership of Narendra Modi who has done lot for the region and the state and not to follow their comments during this hour of the festival of democracy which everyone of us has the right to choose and vote for a better leader for development and growth.

I am from Barpeta, a lower Assam district , but when I go home or visit my neigbouring district I feel as if I am in a foreign country, but when I come to Upper Assam districts I feel like coming home. The credit goes to the Congress and they are still making ties with AIUDF chief Badaruddin Azmal for turing Upper Assam into a foreign state, said Ranjit Das, the State BJP president during his address
