Onitsuka Tiger launches “TRAIRINA,” featuring an elegant look created by contrasting materials and a light silhouette
Onitsuka Tiger announces the launch of “TRAIRINA™” (pronounced “tray-ree-nah”), a model featuring a light silhouette created by the contrast of sheep leather and suede, a ballet-inspired low-cut topline, and a slim sole.
TRAIRINA™ shoes combine defined lines created by the material paneling with the delicate texture of suede. The upper pairs smooth sheep leather with softly brushed suede, while the Onitsuka Tiger Stripes are expressed through tonal stitching. The contrast in textures and subtle shading of the suede add depth to the minimal form.
The low-cut topline and slim sole create a light, sharp silhouette. Inspired by driving shoes and wrestling shoes, the sole features a tiger claw-mark motif. The outsole wrapping up to the heel of the upper and the heel flap give the rear view a distinctive Onitsuka Tiger character.
Padding inside the collar enhances the fit around the heel, while an OrthoLite® sockliner provides cushioning for added comfort. Satin-like spare shoelaces in tonal colors are also included, allowing the look to be changed to suit different styling.
The shoes are available in three colorways: “BLACK/BLACK” and “BROWN/BROWN,” where variations in material texture add depth to the tonal design, and “BIRCH/CAMEL BEIGE,” which highlights the suede texture and dimensional lines of the upper.
TRAIRINA™ shoes will launch between September 18 and September 25 and will be available at Onitsuka Tiger stores nationwide and on the official online store.
