Orris Infrastructure and Godrej Properties Settle Dispute, Bombay HC Orders MD’s Release
Gurugram: Orris Infrastructure and Godrej Properties Limited have reached an amicable settlement concerning matters related to the “Godrej Air” project in Gurugram, marking the end of a dispute between the long‑standing partners.

On 25 August 2026, the Bombay High Court ordered the immediate and unconditional release of Orris Infrastructure’s Managing Director, Amit Gupta, after being informed that both companies had settled the matter. A single‑judge bench of Justice Milind N. Jadhav noted that in light of the Settlement Agreement between the parties, Gupta was to be released forthwith.
The dispute had arisen from a complaint filed earlier this year regarding statutory filings for the LLP established for the jointly developed Gurugram project. Senior advocates Amit Desai (appearing for Orris Infrastructure) and Abad Ponda (representing Godrej Properties) confirmed the settlement in court, with Godrej Properties indicating it had no objection to Gupta’s release.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Orris Infrastructure emphasised: “Our focus continues to be on delivering our ongoing projects and honouring commitments to our homebuyers and partners.” The company noted that its business operations and projects have carried on without disruption, with customer delivery remaining its priority.
The resolution closes a chapter of contention, allowing both parties to move forward while concentrating on project execution and stakeholder commitments.
