New Delhi: Ottobock is the Official Technical Service Provider for the 12th World Para Athletics Championships, to be held in New Delhi from September 27 to October 5, 2025, the first time this prestigious event will take place in India. This flagship championship brings together over 1,000 athletes from more than 20 countries, competing across 186 medal events, and represents the largest gathering in the event’s history.
With more than 26 years of experience supporting the International Paralympic Committee since 1988, Ottobock will deliver on-site technical services to ensure athletes’ prosthetics, orthotics, and wheelchairs are maintained for optimum performance throughout the games.
The championship was inaugurated in the presence of esteemed guests, including Dr Mansukh L. Mandaviya, Hon’ble Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports (Chief Guest), Smt. Raksha Nikhil Khadse, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports (Special Guest), Smt. Rekha Gupta, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Delhi (Guest of Honour), Shri Ashish Sood, Hon’ble Education Minister, Government of Delhi (Distinguished Guest), and Sushri Kangana Ranaut, MP, who serves as the Brand Ambassador of the IndianOil New Delhi 2025 WPA Championships (Guest of Eminence).
