Over 100 corporate captains tee off at the IACC Green Tee Golf Tournament 2026

Bengaluru : The 12th Edition of the IACC Green Tee Golf Tournament presented by Bagmane in strategic partnership with Vestian was hosted by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), Karnataka Chapter, saw an enthusiastic participation by 106 business and corporate leaders, including founders, Managing Directors, senior executives and industry leaders for a day of sporting fun and excellence along with business networking.

Held at the verdant expanse of the Prestige Golfshire, Bengaluru, the tournament featured India’s legendary wicketkeeper-batsman and a member of the 1983 Men’s Cricket World Cup winning team, Mr Syed Kirmani, who participated in the event and was also felicitated alongside other attendees.

The golf tourney, which was organised in the shotgun format, offered players an opportunity to connect beyond the boardroom for an exchange of ideas and building lasting relationships even as they squared off against one another on one of Bengaluru’s premier golf courses. The specially curated event also attracted 15+ sponsors and partners whose support contributed to its successful execution.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Gerald (Jerry) Manoharan, Chairman, Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, Karnataka Chapter, said, “The IACC Green Tee Golf Tournament has emerged as a sought-after platform that connects founders, MDs and industry leaders in an informal and engaging environment. The relaxed ambience serves as a catalyst for fruitful business collaborations and has also resulted in finding solutions to vexing business challenges. It also reinforces IACC Karnataka Chapter’s commitment to strengthening business relationships and fostering collaboration among India’s corporate and entrepreneurial leadership.”

Commenting on the tournament, Mr. Syed Kirmani, legendary Indian cricketer, said, “This is a great initiative by IACC in providing business leaders an opportunity to come together. Sporting events help build a team spirit that often stands the test of time. The competitive spirit only helps to sharpens one’s acumen when pitted against the best.” Mr Kirmani was also presented with a special memento to mark the occasion.

An award ceremony was also held to honour the winners across eight competitive categories. In the IACC members category, Dr. Raj Mruthyunjayappa emerged as the winner while Mr. George Inasu was the runners-up. In the Division A Category, Milesh J emerged victorious and Allwyn Macackenhas was named the winner in Division B. Runners-up in Division A and B were Devesh Lenka and Raghunath B. Manickam, respectively.

Awards were also presented for special on-course achievements, with Rishabh Goel winning the IACC Straightest Drive on Hole #4 and Satish Kabra being named the IACC Closest to Pin on Hole #15. The Awards were sponsored by Wealth Managers United (WMU)
