Oxygen Park is coming up in LB Nagar

Hyderabad: First of its kind Oxygen Park is coming up in the LB Nagar Assembly Constituency very soon. The proposed park will be constructed under the new flyover coming up near Kamineni Hospital Chawrasta by December this year of March next year.

LB Nagar, member of assembly Mr. Sudheer Reddy announced this during International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer event organized by the Mrs.Viajaya Goud, TRS Mahlila President-Kothapet in association with Signature Branding and Events on Wednesday morning at Satya Nagar Community Hall Kothapet.

He said that LB Nagar Constituency has the highest number of parks, community parks across all the assembly constituencies in the country. He said that the proposed Oxygen Park would be comprised of plant varieties which release large amount of Oxygen and which are identified by the global agencies.

He said that people need more oxygen and atmosphere needs reduction in pollution hence only plants can help us secure this goal. The proposed park in LB Nagar will also have a seating arrangement and walking track so that people can have more oxygen. Whatever we are doing, the next generation would have to put more efforts in order to protect the atmosphere. He further said that population must also be contained in order to deal with several issues we are facing today.

On this occasion, Mrs.Vijaya Goud said that protection of atmosphere and Ozone layer was the responsibility of all the citizens. All need to participate in this cause, she added. “We wanted to bring awareness among the masses about nature, protection of nature, atmosphere”, she said.

The world is forced to wear a mask because of a minute virus today, and if we neglect the protection of atmosphere or nature, we would have to wear oxygen cylinder in future, she reiterated.

She said that safe and protected atmosphere is the only gift we can give to the next generation.

Kothapet Corporator Sagar Reddy on this occasion said that it was an enthralling program to create awareness among the people. He said that high levels of pollution were the reason the Ozone layer was getting damaged. He said that there must be collective efforts to protect the ozone.

Mrs Kasturi from Consumer Commission, Ranga Reddy District Judge, Mrs Anitha Rao, Rahul Goud and Mrs Mounika attended the event as guests. Participants donated plants to the members of the event on the occasion, around 60 members participated in this awareness program
