Pacific World School Hosts ‘Feet on Fire’ – ‘Kathak Recital’ by Guru Malti Shyamji

Pacific World School, in association with Spic Macay, hosted an enchanting ‘Feet on Fire- Kathak Recital’ by Guru Malti Shyamji on Friday within the school premises. As a steadfast supporter of national initiatives, Pacific World School delightedly presented its second collaboration with Spic Macay, continuing its commitment to nurturing cultural awareness among students.

The mesmerising event began with a solemn ‘felicitation ceremony,’ accompanied by the lighting of the lamp and the recitation of mantras, fostering a positive and spiritual atmosphere and seeking divine blessings. Guru Malti Shyamji ignited the stage with her electrifying performance, captivating the audience through her graceful movements and impeccable synchronisation throughout the recital.

“The ‘Kathak Recital’ by Guru Malti Shyamji was a remarkable celebration of our rich cultural heritage. We are honoured to collaborate with Spic Macay and provide our students with invaluable exposure to Indian Classical Music and Culture. This event has not only inspired our students but has also brought our community closer together. Spic Macay, a national society supported by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the Anant Bajaj Foundation, is dedicated to promoting Indian Classical Music and Culture among the youth.
