Pakistani musician composed song for young singer from Mangaldai

MANGALDAI:: Arkeeb Shivam, a promising young singer of , Mangaldai in Assam has made the culturally sensitive people of Assam in general and Darrang in particular proud by releasing his first ‘Sufi’ video song ‘Mere Hum Dum’ . The song in Hindi has carried a special significance as its composition has connected two countries India and Pakistan which has been struggling for a peaceful and friendly political relationship for long. The song was composed by a prominent music maker from Pakistani namely Shahbaz Nazir Ijaz Khan with assistance from Punjab based renowned lyricist and composer Aditya Kalkal. Kalkal is also the lyricist of the song . In the video song produced under the banner of Shivam production was acted by young romantic pair Prashanta Tiwari and Ananya . The video was directed, cinematographed and edited by another talented Mangaldai youth namely Tiraap Simanta Medhi . The song was formally released to global music lovers via the personal online platform of Arkeeb and on April 21 evening as a musical gift for universal peace and brotherhood ahead of the Eid-Ul-Fitr celebrations. The simple function organized at the Arkeeb’s residence here at ward no 4 was attended by local senior journalists Bhargab Kumar Das, Hemanta Kr Baruah and Mayukh Goswami apart from a few young social media bloggers and local music enthusiasts surrounded by festive atmosphere of Rongali Bihu The speakers appreciated the efforts of Arkeeb and his team and hoped that the production will draw a huge audience across the globe and make a mark of Mangaldai in the highly competitive musical arena. Earlier Arkeeb’s singer mother Mala Deka greeted the guests while his father Satyesh Nath gave a brief account on the background of the musical production.
