Madhura: The second day of SPARK 2025, the annual cultural fest of Sanskriti University, was an unforgettable musical extravaganza as renowned Bollywood playback singer Palak Muchhal took center stage. Students and attendees were enthralled by her soulful melodies, making it a night of euphoria, rhythm, and melody.
The evening commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony before the idol of Goddess Saraswati, symbolizing the university’s deep-rooted cultural ethos. The ceremony was graced by Chancellor Dr. Sachin Gupta, Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, CEO of Sanskriti University, and other esteemed dignitaries.
As Palak Muchhal stepped onto the stage with her opening song, Jiya Jaye, Jiya Jaye Na More Piya Re, the audience erupted in cheers. She captivated hearts with her melodious rendition of Kaun Tujhe Pyar Karega from MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, followed by her evergreen hits from Aashiqui 2, including Hum Tere Bin Reh Nahi Sakte, Tere Bin Ab Jeena Kya, and Tum Hi Ho.
The energy soared as she performed the immensely popular Mere Rashke Qamar, leaving the crowd spellbound. Students swayed to her enchanting voice as she continued with Sanam Teri Kasam, Teri Deewani, Tere Naam Se Ji Loon, Sanam Tu Mera, Teri Meri Kahani, and Abhi Chalta Hoon Duaon Mein Yaad Rakhna, responding to the audience’s enthusiastic requests.
A special moment unfolded when Palak introduced her brother, Palash Muchhal, who took the stage and entertained the audience with his soulful performances, allowing Palak a brief respite. Soon after, she returned to mesmerize the crowd once again with Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and other popular numbers.
