Prime Minister Narendra Modi today requested the loose cannons who make contradictory statements on Ram Temple issue to have faith in the judicial system of the country.

Addressing the Vijay Sankalp rally at Tapovan in Nashik while concluding the Mahajanadesh Yatra of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Prime Minister Modi said, the loose cannons to be watchful while making such statements and urged them to have faith in the Supreme Court who has agreed to sit extra-time to complete the hearing on the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi matter and also on Indian Constitution.

Speaking on the abrogation of special status under Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Mr Modi said that earlier people use to say Kashmir is ours and now we have to make it a new Kashmir and make it heaven once again. He said, the dreams and aspirations of youth in Kashmir should be fulfilled and the Kashmiris be hugged.

The Prime Minister said that the top-most priority of the BJP- led Government at Centre is the country’s security, adding that there is nothing bigger than the country.

Criticizing the previous Congress regime at Centre, Modi alleged that in 2009 the army had demanded to purchase as many as 1.46 lakh bulletproof jackets, however, not even a single jacket was purchased. He further said that after the BJP-led Government came to power in 2014, the government started the process to purchase the bulletproof jackets and added that India has now entered into the club of nations who export Bulletproof jackets.

India now exports bulletproof jackets to more than 100 countries, the senior BJP leader said.

Taking a swipe at Nationalist Congress President Sharad Pawar on criticizing the government on the abrogation of article 370, Mr Modi said, he can understand the confusion of Congress but wondered how an experienced leader like Mr Sharad Pawar makes wrong statements.
