PM Narendra Modi inaugurated 9th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in Gandhinagar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 9th edition of Vibrant Gujarat global investors’ summit- 2019 at Mahatma Mandir Gandhinagar today. The main theme of 9th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit 2019 is “Shaping a new India.”

Speaking at the inaugural function, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, India is ready for business as never before. Mr. Modi said, in last 4 years, we have jumped 65 places in World Bank’s Doing Business Report and his team is workeing harder to come in the top 50 next year. The Prime Minister said, as India is a most emerging economy, challenges is to grow both horizontally as well as vertically. 

Welcoming the galaxy of national and international dignitaries and delegates at the Summit, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that the presence of global business leaders is a reflection of faith and trust in Gujarat’s investment friendly environment. Mr. Rupani expressed his gratitude towards the Prime Minister for the inspirational vision for Shaping a New India.

 In a video message, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterates for strong bondings with India and Gujarat in future also. 

Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev also addressed the Vibrant Gujarat Summit. He promised to strengthen trade and relations with Indian and Gujarat. Mr. John Chambers, the Chairman of USISPF has said that he is very Optimistic about India under the leadership of PM Modi. He said that India’s Startup ecosystem will lead the world. 

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and exchanged greetings on the sidelines of the Summit. Both the leaders also had discussion on upgrading bilateral relationship, specially in trade & investment, healthcare, pharma, agriculture & IT. 

More than 30 thousand international and Indian delegates including the  Heads of State from 5 countries are participating in the summit. Apart from this, 11 international organizations are participating as partner organizations for the Summit.
