Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Solapur in Maharashtra Agra in Uttar Pradesh today to launch several development projects.PM will launch several development projects and lay foundation stones for some other development projects.
Mr Modi will visit Solapur initially where he will dedicate to the nation, 58km the four-laned Solapur-Tuljapur-Osmanabad section of NH-211. The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation Stone of 30,000 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. These will primarily benefit beedi workers, textile workers and workers from unorganised sector. PM Narendra Modi will also dedicate Underground Sewerage System, and three Sewage Treatment Plants in Solapur.He will also lay the Foundation Stone of Underground Sewerage System under AMRUT Mission.and Water Supply and Sewerage System, as part of Area Based Development in Solapur Smart City.
Mr Modi will also visit Agra today wherehe will launch Gangajal project and other developmental projects in Agra. The Gangajal programme will improve water supply in the city. The cost of the project is 2,880 crore rupees and will benefit both residents and tourists. Under government’s Gangajal project, 150 cusec water will reach Agra from Palra headworks in Upper Ganga Canal in Bulandshahr.
The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for Integrated Command and Control Centre for Agra Smart City and upgradation of SN Medical College. The Integrated Command and Control Centre for Agra Smart City will help to develop Agra as a modern world-class smart city.
