Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated VD Satheesan on taking the oath as the Chief Minister of Keralam. In a social media post, Mr Modi said that the Central Government will ensure all possible support for the newly formed Keralam Government in fulfilling the aspirations of the people.
The new UDF Ministry headed by senior Congress leader V. D. Satheesan was sworn in today at Thiruvananthapuram, Keralam. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar administered the oath to the new ministers. Former Opposition Leader and former KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala, present KPCC president Sunny Joseph, former KPCC president K. Muraleedharan, and IUML leader P. K. Kunhalikutty are among the senior leaders in the new ministry. The swearing-in ceremony of the 21-member ministry is continuing at Thiruvananthapuram.
