Bengaluru: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji congratulated Dr Ramdas M. Pai, Padma Bushan awardee and Chancellor, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), on his 90th Birthday. In an official letter, the Hon’ble Prime Minister praised Dr Pai’s lifelong contributions to the fields of health and education, which have brought him national recognition and respect. While expressing appreciation for the substantial contribution, the Manipal group continues to make with its focus on quality learning across diverse fields.
The Prime Minister also highlighted Dr Pai’s role as an academic leader and visionary educationist, who transformed higher education in India and promoted cultural exchange and innovation. He further noted the importance of Manipal institutions, now among India’s leading institutions of quality learning, in helping achieve the national vision of Viksit Bharat.
