Prime Minister Modi will flag off three Amrit Bharat Express trains and one Passenger Train

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will flag off three Amrit Bharat Express trains and one Passenger Train via video conferencing at 10.45 hrs. on Friday, 23rd January 2026 from Putharikandam Maidanam, Thiruvananthapuram along with inauguration of various other projects.

Trains that will be Flagged Off

• Thiruvananthapuram – Tambaram Amrit Bharat Express

(from Thiruvananthapuram Central)• Nagercoil – Mangaluru Amrit Bharat Express

(from Thiruvananthapuram Central)• Thiruvananthapuram – Charlappalli Amrit Bharat Express

(from Thiruvananthapuram North)• Thrissur – Guruvayur Passenger Train

• Thiruvananthapuram Central: 09.30 hrs (Hon’ble Union Minister of State Railways Shri V.Somanna will attend the function along with other elected representatives

and dignitaries)• Thiruvananthapuram North: 09.30 hrs.• Thrissur: 09.30 hrs.

Hon’ble PM will be flagging off trains via Video Conferencing at 10.45 hrs. Media personnel travelling on the inaugural run are requested to reach the station by 10.00 hrs.
