Bengaluru — More than 1,100 students from PW Vidyapeeth centres and schools across Bengaluru participated in the ‘India Is Ready Marathon 2026’, covering around 4.2 KM across a route charted through Cubbon Park recently. Organised by PW Vidyapeeth, the tech-enabled offline coaching arm of PhysicsWallah (PW), the marathon aimed to promote health, fitness and academic enthusiasm among students, while building awareness around PWNSAT 2026, through which eligible students can avail themselves of up to 100% tuition fee waivers, compete for a cash reward pool of up to ₹2.5 crore, and access free education and hostel support for the top 500 eligible rankers.

The marathon commenced at 7:00 AM with registration and expert-led warm-up sessions, before being flagged off following a ceremonial ribbon-cutting by Pushpinder Kaur Sidhu, Regional Head, PW, and Aman Kumar, Deputy Regional Head, PW.

The top achievers were recognised with trophies and medals, while every participant received a certificate acknowledging their effort and participation.

Beyond promoting physical fitness, the Bengaluru marathon served as a key student engagement initiative ahead of PWNSAT 2026, PW’s annual national scholarship initiative for aspiring JEE and NEET students. Registrations for PWNSAT 2026 are free and open to students from Class V to XII, as well as Class XII pass-outs.

Commenting on the initiative, Alakh Pandey, Educator, Founder and CEO, PhysicsWallah, said, “Access to quality education should not be determined by a student’s financial circumstances. Through PWNSAT, we aim to support learners by reducing these barriers while providing guidance that helps them continue their preparation with confidence.”

PWNSAT 2026 will be conducted in both online and offline modes to ensure wider accessibility. The online examination will be held from October 1 to 15, 2026, while offline examinations will take place on October 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2026, across PW Vidyapeeth, Pathshala and Tuition centres.
