Assam Governor Prof.Jagdish Mukhi unfurled the tricolor on the occasion of 74th Independence Day at Raj Bhavan today. He hoisted the National Flag in presence of the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan where the CRPF personnel presented the Guard of Honour. Though the celebrations were kept very simple because of corona virus pandemic, the whole programme was conducted adhering to COVID 19 safety protocols. The Governor greeted all the people of Assam and conveyed his warm greetings on the occasion. The First Lady of Assam Smt.Prem Mukhi was also present on the occasion.
