Recordent Strengthens MSME Ecosystem in Mumbai Through Seminar on Credit Risk and Receivables Management

Mumbai : Recordent, a leading technology-driven credit risk and collections management platform, reaffirmed its commitment to empowering Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the Mumbai regions by organizing an exclusive seminar on “Predict, Protect, & Collect: Mastering SME Cash Flows in the Age of AI” at a city-based The Sahil Hotel in Mumbai Central.

The seminar witnessed an encouraging response from entrepreneurs and business leaders across industries. The event brought together participants for an interactive session on AI-driven approaches to strengthening SME cash flows and receivables management.

As MSMEs continue to face challenges arising from delayed payments and increasing credit exposure, the session focused on helping businesses adopt a structured and data-driven approach to credit management. Industry experts shared insights on evaluating the financial health of customers, identifying early warning signs of payment defaults, and implementing diplomatic yet improved cash flow mechanisms that preserve long-term client relationships.

The interactive session also highlighted the growing importance of technology-enabled collections management in improving cash flow and strengthening business resilience. Participants gained valuable insights into best practices for reducing outstanding receivables, improving payment discipline, and safeguarding working capital.

Recordent has played a significant role in improving collections and recovery outcomes for MSMEs. Since 2020, businesses using the platform have initiated collection and recovery efforts for outstanding dues worth over ₹19,532 crore across 14.28 lakh invoices.

These efforts have resulted in the collection and recovery of approximately ₹18,535 crore, translating into a recovery rate of nearly 95%. The results highlight the effectiveness of Recordent’s technology-driven approach to receivables management, collections optimization, and credit risk monitoring.
