Red Bull Wings Cup arrives in India, giving EA SPORTS FC™ 27 players a road to the World Final in Miami
Mumbai: Red Bull has launched the Red Bull Wings Cup in India, giving EA SPORTS FC™ 27 players across the country the opportunity to compete for a place at the Red Bull Wings Cup World Final in Miami. Running in India from September 28 to November 14, 2026, the competition gives players two routes to begin their journey, through the University League or the online Open League.
Red Bull Wings Cup brings a new competitive format to EA SPORTS FC™ 27, taking players from local and online qualifiers to a National Final before the best from around the world meet in Miami.
Two ways to qualify in India
The University League gives students the opportunity to compete at campus qualifiers across India in EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Rush mode. Every victory earns points towards the National Leaderboard, and players can compete at multiple University Qualifiers to improve their position and push for a place at the National Final.
For players competing from home, the Open League provides an online route through PlayStation® Tournaments. Players can access the competition through EA SPORTS FC™ 27 on PlayStation 5, register for Red Bull Wings Cup Open League tournament brackets and compete in Ultimate Team as they attempt to progress towards the National Final.
The leading competitors from both pathways will ultimately come together at the India National Final, where one National Winner will earn the opportunity to represent the country at the Red Bull Wings Cup World Final in Miami, USA. National winners from participating markets around the world will meet in a unified competition. The World Final is expected to take place in January 2027.
The Red Bull Wings Cup experience also extends beyond the tournament. Limited-edition Red Bull Wings Cup cans can be used to unlock exclusive EA SPORTS FC™ 27 rewards. Players can scan the QR code, log in with their EA Account and enter the unique eight-digit code on the can tab to claim rewards including 250 Season Points, a Player Pick Loan Player Item for seven games and Red Bull Wings Cup Ultimate Team kit content.
With qualification opportunities both on campus and online, Red Bull Wings Cup gives EA SPORTS FC™ 27 players across India a pathway from playing at home or university to competing for their country on the global stage.
