Mumbai : Revenant XSpark (RNTX), one of India’s leading esports and gaming organisations, has announced its entry into competitive EA SPORTS FC with the signing of Indian player Vanshaj Sharma, who is set to compete at the EA SPORTS FC Pro 27 Open Global Qualifier in London on November 5–7, 2026. The signing marks a new chapter in the organisation’s competitive expansion, with its first EA SPORTS FC player already preparing to represent India on the international stage.

Vanshaj secured his place at the global tournament alongside fellow Indian player Charanjot Singh through the FC Pro Open Asia South Regional Qualifier. With only two qualification spots available from South Asia, both being claimed by Indian competitors marks an encouraging milestone for the country’s growing presence in international football esports.

The London qualifier will bring together 64 players from across the world, competing for just 16 places in the prestigious FC Pro Open. Organised by Electronic Arts (EA), the competition forms part of the global EA SPORTS FC Pro circuit, which provides a pathway towards the EA SPORTS FC Pro World Championship, one of the highest levels of competitive football gaming.

Revenant XSpark’s entry into EA SPORTS FC comes at a time when Indian esports is gradually expanding beyond its traditionally dominant mobile gaming titles. While football enjoys an established fanbase in India, competitive football gaming presents a distinct opportunity for Indian players to establish themselves internationally. Vanshaj’s qualification highlights the potential for Indian talent to compete in global esports disciplines beyond the country’s most popular competitive titles.

Rohit Jagasia, Founder and CEO of Revenant XSpark, said, “Entering EA SPORTS FC is an exciting step for Revenant XSpark as we continue to expand our competitive presence across different esports titles. What makes this particularly special is that our first signing, Vanshaj, has already secured his place at an important international tournament. With two Indian players claiming both South Asian qualification spots, it’s an encouraging moment for football esports in the country. We believe Indian talent has the potential to compete globally across a much wider range of titles, and we’re looking forward to supporting Vanshaj as he takes on this opportunity in London.”

The addition of Vanshaj strengthens Revenant XSpark’s multi-title competitive portfolio, which spans BGMI,Free Fire, HoK, Moba 5v5, Brawl Stars, Pokémon UNITE and other esports disciplines. The organisation has achieved significant milestones across domestic and international competitions, including a top-four finish at the Brawl Stars World Finals 2025, championship-winning performances in BGMI and its Pokémon UNITE roster representing India at the Asian Games 2026.

With his London appearance approaching, Vanshaj will look to secure one of the 16 available FC Pro Open spots and take another step towards competing at the highest level of international football esports. His signing also signals Revenant XSpark’s ambition to identify and support emerging Indian talent across an increasingly diverse global esports landscape.
