A road accident in Cuddalore district in Tamil Nadu claimed four lives today. It is said to have happened when the driver of a car lost control while trying to avoid a two wheeler near Veppur town in the district.
The car collided head on with a truck coming in the opposite direction, killing three passengers of the car and the cleaner of the truck, on the spot. The victims include a mother and her two daughters. Five others were admitted to a hospital nearby.
