Roadmap of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh – 2023 released: NITI Aayog lauds initiative

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today released Roadmap-2023 for the development of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh in Minto Hall. On this historic occasion, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a new structure will be created of public participation in development and monitoring system. Deendayal committees will be constituted at village, Janpad and district levels to ensure public participation and monitoring. Transparency in development works will be increased by extensive use of modern technology in every field. Farming will be made a profitable business by increasing production and productivity in a modern way. A total of Rs 10 thousand of Samman Nidhi will be given to farmers every year in the form of PM Samman Nidhi and Mukhya Mantri Samman Nidhi.

Chief Minister  Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to have released the roadmap of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh on the strategy of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Atmanirbhar Bharat.        A clear strategy on infrastructure development, health and education, economy and employment and good governance has been prepared on the roadmap of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. On the basis of this roadmap, the ministers will prepare and implement the schemes of their departments. The responsibility will be fixed at every level of minister and administration and strict monitoring will be done at every level.

Distinguished guests including MP V.D. Sharma and Shri Amitabh Kant, Chief Executive Officer, NITI Aayog, Government of India took part in the release of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh Roadmap-2023, through video conference. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan released the roadmap and handed over a copy of the roadmap to Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains for its implementation.  Several ministers, MLAs, MPs and other people’s representatives were present on the occasion. CEO of NITI Aayog, Shri Amitabh Kant said that only Madhya Pradesh took this important initiative of organizing webinars in Corona period. Madhya Pradesh will be identified as the leading state of the country for the implementation of the roadmap of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh.

Prime Minister Modi is our motivator: Chief Minister Chouhan said that Prime Minister Modi is our inspiration. He always radiates enthusiasm and energy. He had appealed to all states for support to Atmanirbhar Bharat, and called for turning the challenge of Corona into an opportunity. Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh is essential for building Atmanirbhar Bharat. Efforts made for this are being put before the people of the state in the form of the roadmap, because I have high regard for the people of Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh is my temple.  The public is God to me. The priest of this temple is Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that it was a challenge to help people come out of economic crisis in Corona period. We delivered funds to various sections of the society through video conference. It was also a special task to present the roadmap of Madhya Pradesh under such circumstances, which we fulfilled as per our own will. Now continuous work will have to be done to implement the roadmap. Funds will also be arranged. Private sector participation will be ensured.

Will make Madhya Pradesh the best state in the country: Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that economic activities will be further promoted so that Madhya Pradesh becomes the best state in the country. Focus would be on making agriculture sector a profitable business by construction of roads and infrastructure related work and utilization of each drop of water including Narmada water. There will be maximum use of solar power along with thermal power. Solar panels will be laid in Omkareshwar reservoir. In the field of education, arrangement will be made to bring students by buses to schools. No one will be deprived of education. A network of small water structures will be laid. Irrigation area will be increased to 60 lakh in the areas where previously it was increased from 7 lakh hectare to 31 lakh hectare. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Farmers Producer Organizations (FPO) will be expanded in the form of a movement. Keeping in mind the distribution of resources, works will be implemented on the principle of funds according to population.

Local to be made vocal : Chief Minister Chouhan said that strengthening the economy through employment under the Atma Nirbhar Madhya Pradesh will be a major task. The aim is to make the local vocal. Local product will be linked to sales. Women’s empowerment will also enhance by encouraging the sale of local goods. The business of women of rural areas will be made profitable by enhancing their skills. Similarly, efforts will be made to increase employment through cultural activities. Small traders should not face any difficulty, if big traders are dishonest, they should be careful because they will not be spared for putting the common people in trouble. Criminal elements will be crushed. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan further stated that cooperation of every individual will be taken in Atma Nirbhar Madhya Pradesh.
