Acutely aligning with the quote by Jay Weatherill “You’ll be much more successful if you follow your dreams and follow you passions” the soulful song ‘Khaab Tera’ sung by Ruhfikra is all set to take the audience through the evocative journey, unraveling the struggles of following one’s dreams which falls beyond the realm of conventional profession set by the society.

As an avid observer of problems embedded in various layers within the society, this Indian based euphonious singer sensitizes the audience about the troubling issue of denied career liberty.

The teaser is already out on YouTube and all major music streaming platforms. The song is all set and scheduled to be released on the 9th of September worldwide. The video is directed by Neeraj Mehhta who has worked with multiple B-Town labels and one of his works is also featured at the Cannes Film festival 2021. The young girl featured is Aarna who has also featured in music videos of Tony Kakkar, Akhil, etc. The role of a mature girl is played by Janvi: a model, actress and trained Belly dancer who has also featured in the popular dance reality show ‘Dance Plus’.

“Being an Indian lad, I always remember movies by the songs that have been a part of it. Songs around the world always have its unique tale of emotions & identity. They may never answer the questions of life or hardships, but they are always there to cushion you at every step of it. I guess that’s the most beautiful part about them,” said Ruhfikra.

As songs have a mesmerising effect that harmonizes with and elevates the emotions, it is a medium through which people experience liberation. Hence, even when Ruhfikra could not afford recording at the studio, he borrowed a basic mic from friends and recorded songs in the office canteen. “It really never mattered to me how the final song sounded as I was overwhelmed by the actual joy of recording & editing them,” reminisces Ruhfikra.
