Kokrajhar: The Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Tourism in collaboration with Nature’s Beckon is organising a camping festival at Chakrachila Wildlife Sanctuary, Jornagra village in Kokrajhar district beginning 10th – 12th September.
In this connection, a Promo video about Chakrachila Wildlife Sanctuary was lunched today by BTC executive member for Tourism Dharma Narayan Das at the conference Hall of the Office of the Director cum CHD, Tourism, Department in Kokrajhar.
Das said a three days camping festival is organised at Chakrachila Wildlife Sanctuary from 10 September next with various activities like Bird watching, jungle tracking, camping in the forest, night treaking, cultural activities and nature conservation training to promote tourism and attract tourists.
He said the Bodoland Region have huge scope for tourism and the BTC administration is taking necessary initiative for all development of the tourism industry.
He calls upon all to participate and make the program a grand success.
Soumyadeep Datta, Director of Natures’ Beckon, and Moitreyee Das, Director cum CHD, Tourism Department, BTC were also present at the program.
